Over the past 50 years, LIAM has tirelessly contributed to the development of Malaysia’s dynamic life insurance industry and supported the government’s core social protection efforts. LIAM’s crucial social role in stimulating the growth of the life insurance sector by encouraging a better understanding of financial protection and financial planning through education has assisted in elevating both community and national economic development, impacted savings, and raised the population’s standard of living. Moving forward, LIAM is committed to maintaining a robust and competitive market for the Malaysian life insurance industry. We will continue to build on our past achievements to strengthen our foundations and dedicate ourselves to shaping the future of the industry through strategic social initiatives and regulatory collaborations. We remain focused on increasing public awareness to enhance individual financial security, raise the professionalism of our workforce and intermediaries, promote career opportunities in the life insurance sector, complement government social security reforms, and drive sustainability transformation in climate risk, diversity, and social equity.
